Depression Treatment
Depression in the UK unfortunately has a high prevalence. It is estimated that at any one time, 1 in 6 adults in the UK suffer with depression (Champion Health). Women are more likely to struggle with depression, although it certainly impacts men also. Unfortunately, depression is often paired with other disorders, such as anxiety, stress or PTSD.
What is depression? Essentially, it is a mood disorder. You may feel lower, less motivated, have difficulties with eating, sleeping and feeling energised. You may be more withdrawn. Needless to say, depression can therefore, if untreated at times, lead to difficulties at home, in family/social life, work and other areas.
At Mynd Care Psychotherapies, we offer only the best treatment for depression through a range of different, specialised therapies. CBT, Counselling and even Couple’s Therapy for depression is included in this, among others. We offer a FREE initial consultation, to help to understand you and your struggles better, as well as use our sliding scale policy to ensure it is also an affordable journey for you from a financial viewpoint.
Depression is treated in different ways depending on the therapy provided. Counselling for depression is another option that we offer. If you are feeling depressed, or suspect you may be depressed, please reach out to us so we can support you.
